VarsityToolkit Insider Tip
Here is an important detail for your 2027 Admission strategy: Life Orientation is strictly excluded when calculating your overall APS Score. Also, if you are aiming for Engineering, Mathematical Literacy and Technical Mathematics are not accepted as substitutes for standard Mathematics. Do not let a high Life Orientation mark inflate your expectations for competitive Faculty Requirements. Run your real numbers through our VarsityToolkit APS Calculator to see exactly which degrees you qualify for right now.
